Over seven years ago, designer Cheryl Finnegan gave up her life in San Francisco and her job at Levi Strauss to let her inspiration take hold. Her passion for such iconic females such as Eve, Frida Kahlo and the Virgin of Guadalupe led her to create Virgins Saints & Angels, a line of accessories celebrating the goddesses who encourage enlightenment, expression, and creativity. Ranging from belt buckles to rosaries, necklaces to key chains, pieces are handmade by an extended family of craftsmen. VSA prides itself on being socially conscious, employing local residents and utilizing local resources, all symbols of San Miguel’s passion and culture.
