Born To Run Opera Duster

All good things are wild and free!

Created to celebrate the unbridled spirit of adventure, our "Born to Run" design features vintage-washed, heritage prints combined with the untamed energy of two rearing racehorses by British painter George Stubbs. The antique banners, adorned with rebellious mottos like “Don’t Fence Me In,” pay homage to the wild west and the open road. The beautiful, airy backdrop behind the horses is actually a scenic lithograph from the 1897 World’s Fair, while the faded florals and golden wheat are inspired by an 1800s farmer’s diploma. Additionally, the pen-and-ink stars and the upturned horseshoe are antique drawings from the same era. To add a final playful touch, we included a prancing mother horse and foal — symbols of unbounded freedom and joy. The entire design is trimmed in a washed heritage plaid, reminiscent of sun-faded chambray and warm days spent on the range.

Made from 100% viscose (derived from plant fibers such as bamboo and wood), it is machine washable on a gentle cycle or can be hand washed and hung to dry. Ironing is recommended to finish if needed.

Kimono measurements: Length – 118 cm; Width – 78 cm (measured across the back, underarm to underarm). The model is 5'7" for reference
