Born To Run Pixie Duster

All good things are wild and free!

Created to celebrate the unbridled spirit of adventure, Born to Run combines vintage-washed, heritage prints with the untamed energy of two rearing racehorses, as depicted by British painter George Stubbs. The antique banners, etched with rebellious mottos like “Don’t Fence Me In,” are our spirited nod to the Wild West and the open road. The beautiful, airy backdrop behind the horses features a scenic lithograph from the 1897 World’s Fair, while the faded florals and golden wheat are taken from an 1800s diploma. The pen-and-ink stars and upturned horseshoe are also antique drawings from the same era. As a final, playful touch, we added a prancing mother horse and foal—a symbol of unbounded freedom and joy. The entire design is trimmed in a washed heritage plaid, reminiscent of sun-faded chambray and leisurely days spent at home on the range.

Material: 100% viscose (derived from plant fibers such as wood and bamboo). Machine wash gently or hand wash and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed. Kimono measurements: length 60 cm, width (across the back, underarm to underarm) 74 cm. Model is 5’7” for reference.
