Each piece is handcrafted and is therefore one of a kind.  It is created by fusing glass to metal.  The glass is ground finer than granulated sugar and coarser than flour.  It is applied to the metal surface and is then heated to 1400-1700 degrees Fahrenheit.  After the glass melts and fuses to the metal surface, the item is allowed to cool to room temperature.  It may take between three and fifteen applications of glass to complete a piece.
